Graphic tutorial for creating new sequence files in Premiere

There are some novice friends who say that they have started Premiere but do not know how to create a sequence file. In fact, it is very simple. Here I will share with you a graphic tutorial on how to create a sequence file in Premiere. Let’s take a look!

Open the Premiere main program, find the "New" icon on the project panel, and click the left mouse button to bring up the menu.

In the pop-up menu option, select the "Sequence" command.

In the pop-up window, find the sequence HDV preset and click the mouse to expand it.

Change the sequence preset to: HDV 720p25, which is the more commonly used SD preset in Asia.

Note: 720p25 refers to the resolution of 1280×720 and plays 25 pictures (frames) per second.

You can enter a reasonable and easy-to-query sequence name in the "Sequence Name" input field.

If you find that the preset you want is not provided by Premiere, you can also click the "Settings" panel to change the preset in edit mode.

Set the edit mode to: Custom so you can set a preset yourself.

For example, change the frame size of 1280×720 here to: 1920×1080 frame size.

You can freely change the number of video tracks by clicking the "Tracks" panel with the mouse.

Note: Generally speaking, simple works only need 2 video tracks.

You can also check the audio tracks that are temporarily unused and click the "-" sign to remove them.
