Recently, LG released a new entry-level phone, the LG W10 Alpha. What’s more interesting is that it is equipped with a domestic core.

LG W10 Alpha is equipped with a Huben SC9863, which is a chip released by Unisoc in 2018. It integrates eight A55 CPU cores with a maximum frequency of 1.6GHz. It is also equipped with a PowerVR GE8322 GPU core and is positioned as a cost-effective model. It has high performance and low power consumption, and supports AI photography, face recognition, etc.

Other specifications include a 5.71-inch HD+ resolution screen, 2.5D water drop screen design, support for 5-point touch, and a 19:9 ratio. The body size and weight are 147.3x71x8.9mm and 170g respectively. It comes standard with 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage, an 8-megapixel single camera on the front and rear, supports face unlocking and beautification, and has a 3450mAh battery.

As for the price, LG W10 Alpha is priced at 9,999 rupees, which is approximately RMB 971.

Although not well-known, Huben SC9863 has been widely used in many smartphones such as ZTE, Panasonic, Hisense, Alcatel, and Transsion, including Alcatel 1S (2019), ZTE Blade V10 Vita, Blade A7, Blade A5, Panasonic Eluga U3, HTC Wildfire E and many more.
