The cause of this failure is generally an error in the partition table in the hard disk's master boot record. The above prompt will appear when multiple bootstrap partitions are specified (there can only be one bootstrap partition) or when a virus occupies the partition table.

The master boot record (MBR) is located at head 0/cylinder 0/sector 1 and is generated by "Fdisk.exe" when partitioning the hard disk. MBR includes the main boot program, partition table and end mark 55AAH3 part, occupying 1 sector in total.

The main boot program contains program code for checking the hard disk partition table, error information, error handling, etc. When the hard drive boots up, the main boot program checks the partition table for the boot flag. If a partition is a bootable partition, the partition flag is 80H, otherwise it is 00H.

The system stipulates that only one partition can be a boot partition. If the partition table contains multiple bootstrap flags, the main boot program will give an error message of Invalid Partition Table.

It can be understood as: the main partition of the system is not correctly identified!

Solution:

The BIOS sets the SSD disk as the first hard disk and the mechanical disk as the second.

List three motherboard brands, which are also relatively common (ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI)

1. ASUS motherboard BIOS settings:

1. Turn on the computer and press the DEL key repeatedly to enter the motherboard BIOS, and press F7 to enter the advanced mode.

2. After entering the advanced mode, switch to simplified Chinese for better recognition. If you understand English, you can ignore it!

3. Select the startup options with the arrow on the right and slide to the BBS hard disk properties below.

As you can see here, the first startup item is the mechanical hard drive, and the second startup item is the solid-state drive. The order is obviously out of order.

4. Press Enter and select the solid-state drive as the first startup item. It is quite simple.

Finally, we return to the previous level, press F10 to save, and then press Enter to confirm. After that, we can boot into the system normally!

2. Gigabyte motherboard settings BIOS:

1. Turn on the computer and press the DEL key repeatedly to enter the motherboard BIOS and switch to simplified Chinese.

2. Arrow to BIOS Features and select Hard Drive BBS Priorities.

3. Press Enter to select the solid state drive and confirm!

3. MSI motherboard settings BIOS:

1. Turn on the computer and press the DEL key repeatedly to enter the motherboard BIOS and switch to simplified Chinese.

2. Go to startup and select solid state startup.
