Simply click the Audio Options icon on the track you want to record to and you will see the Audio Options dialog box for that track.

1. Record from the microphone

Once launched, just press the microphone button to start recording immediately.

       Press the microphone button again to stop recording (1).

Afterwards, your clip will appear in the media library (1).

3. Record what you hear

First, switch to [Speaker (Loopback)] (1). This means everything you hear is recorded. Then, start recording as mentioned before.

4. Cut the recording

​ ​ First, select the clip you want to crop (1). Then, press the scissors once to switch to editing mode (2).

To trim the beginning of a clip, click the Timeline (1), then click Go (2) to set the current position to the new beginning of the clip. Use the play function to view the modifications (3).

To trim the end of the clip, click the timeline (1) again, then click End to set your current position to the end of the clip.

5. Save changes

You can overwrite an existing clip with your changes (1), or you can create a copy with your changes (2).
