Command line tool Cmder

Cmder is a command line tool. There is a lack of beautiful console emulators on Windows. Cmder adds a Monokai color scheme and a custom prompt layout. It looks sexy from the beginning. Download it if you need it!

Function introduction

The cmder function is extremely powerful, but its power is not obvious from the window screen. Here are the commonly used functions:
The numbered parts in the figure are explained as follows:
1. Common shortcut keys for Cmder
Use Tab for automatic path completion;
Use Ctrl+T to create a new tab; use Ctrl+W to close the tab;
Use Ctrl+Tab to switch tabs;
Alt+F4: Close all tabs
Alt+Shift+1: Open cmd.exe
Alt+Shift+2: Open powershell.exe
Alt+Shift+3: Open powershell.exe (system administrator privileges)
Ctrl+1: Quickly switch to the first tab
Ctrl+n: Quickly switch to the nth tab (n value has no upper limit)
Alt + enter: Switch to full screen state;
Ctr+r historical command search
2. You can search for any keyword that appears on the screen in the window.
3. Add a new tab button.
4. Switch tab button.
5. Lock the window so that no more input can be done in the window.
6. Switch whether the window provides scroll function, and you can query the previously displayed content when starting.
7. Press the left button of the mouse to open the system menu, and the right button of the mouse to open the tool options window. Win+Alt+P: Open the tool options window

How to use

Start cmder
Cmder is ready-to-use, so double-click Cmder.exe after decompression to run it.

It is very troublesome to double-click Cmder.exe to open it every time you enter the Cmder decompression directory. You can use the following methods to solve the problem well;
1. Add Cmder to the environment variables
Add the directory where Cmder.exe is stored to the system environment variable; after adding it, press Win+r and enter cmder.
2. Add cmder to the right-click menu. After adding it, you can open Cmder in any folder. The previous step of adding Cmder to the environment variable serves this purpose. Enter the following statement in a terminal with administrator rights:
Cmder.exe /REGISTER ALL
3. Create a shortcut for Cmder.exe, right-click Cmder.exe and select "Create Shortcut". To open Cmder.exe in the future, just click the corresponding shortcut on the desktop.

Fix text overlapping issue
