Axialis IconWorkshop

Axialis IconWorkshop (the previous version was called AX-Icons) is a powerful icon design tool.

It is used to create, extract, convert, manage and publish Windows(R) icons. With it, you can create, import and save all Windows (R) icons (ICO) and icon libraries (ICL). It supports the new Windows XP icons with alpha channel images (a.k.a. smooth transparency). In this version, you can even open Macintosh(R) icons and convert them to Windows(R) format.

Axialis IconWorkshop perfectly integrates many special functions into one workspace. These features are convenient and easy to use at any time: the built-in browser can browse files in the form of thumbnails and find images and files containing icons on the hard drive; the built-in manager helps you effectively manage icons and icon libraries; load by image and viewer, you can create icons from images with just a click; a compilation wizard helps you create a distributable installation package with an icon library (and set an activation code if needed); it can read from 16x16 monochrome to OS -X 128x128 alpha Macintosh(R) icons in channel thumbnail format and can import or export Adobe(R) Photoshop(R) PSD format and PNG and BMP images with transparent alpha channels.
