MemTest (memory testing tool) installation steps

1. Download MemTest (memory testing tool) directly from this page, unzip and run it.

2. Find the .exe application of MemTest (memory testing tool) and open it.

How to use MemTest

1. Open MemTest and click the "OK" button in the pop-up window to open the tool.

2. Then click the "Start Test" button, as shown in the figure below:

3. A prompt window will pop up. We can see that it is recommended to set the test memory size to 316MB (this value will change due to different memories), and then click the "OK" button

4. Then enter the value 361 and click the "Start Test" button, as shown in the figure below:

5. In the first-time use prompt information window that pops up, we can see the prompt that it is recommended to run for a long time and the test results will be better. Click the "OK" button to start the test, as shown in the figure below:

MemTest FAQ

1. How will the MemTest test results be presented?

When Memtest finds a problem, it will stop running and report the errors found; if it detects 200%~300% (time is 15-30 minutes) or 0 errors, it means there is no problem with the memory.
