Article 1 Operators of special equipment such as boilers, pressure vessels (including gas cylinders), pressure pipelines, elevators, hoisting machinery, passenger ropeways, large amusement facilities, motor vehicles in sites (factories), and their related managers are collectively referred to as special equipment operators. Article 3 Persons who apply for the "Special Equipment Operator Certificate" shall first register for the examination at the special equipment operator examination institution (hereinafter referred to as the examination institution) designated by the certification department; after passing the examination, they shall apply to the certification department for review and certification based on the examination results and relevant materials.

Article 4 Units that produce and use special equipment (hereinafter collectively referred to as employers) shall recruit (employ) personnel who have obtained the "Special Equipment Operator Certificate" to engage in relevant management and operation work, and strictly manage the operators.

Special equipment operators should hold a certificate to work, operate in accordance with the regulations, and handle or report hidden dangers in a timely manner.
