Author: Twist Date: 2021-05-28

Recently, AMD released the Radeon 20.10.1 graphics card driver, adding optimized support for a number of new and upcoming games.

  Supports the following game optimizations:

The Ancient Gods DLC for "Doom: Eternal" recently released by Bethesda

Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs: Legion to be released on October 29

"Dirt 5 (Advanced Edition)"

"World of Warcraft: Shadowlands (Eve)"

The 20.10.1 version of the Adrenaline driver mainly fixes some bugs:

For example, Radeon RX 5000 series graphics card products may encounter instability issues when outputting audio through HDMI.

Enabling Radeon FreeSync for Vulkan API-based games may cause desktop framerate fluctuations when connecting two or more monitors.

An issue with Genshin Impact is not listed or detected in Radeon Software's Games tab.

An issue that may cause application crashes when using certain Windows screensavers (such as bubbles) on Radeon RX 5000 series graphics products.

If you connect two or more FreeSync high refresh rate monitors through Radeon RX 5000 series graphics cards, you may encounter desktop crashes/display abnormalities in idle state.

When updating to the 2020 Adrenaline version directly from within Radeon Software 2019 software, you may experience an issue that fails and displays an error message.

In addition, there are still some known issues that have not yet been fixed:

Enabling vertical sync enhancement on certain games and system configurations may cause the computer to go black. As a temporary workaround, users can disable this feature.

Performance Metrics Overlay and Performance Tuning show higher than expected idle frequencies for Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards. This bug report does not impact performance or power consumption.

Changing the HDMI scaling may cause FPS to be locked at 30 frames.
