1. Amap taxi upgrade

After the driver answers the order, in addition to communicating on the phone, passengers can now send messages directly to the driver, making communication between drivers and passengers more convenient.

Moreover, the AutoNavi taxi-hailing system has added a continuous safety reminder function during driving to provide more comprehensive protection.

2. “Nearby” recommended content upgrade

"Nearby" recommends a large number of popular restaurants and Internet celebrity stores, and also provides various value-for-money discounts.

In response to the confusion faced by car owners about high-speed ETC charges, Amap is also the first to launch a new function "ETC Reconciliation Assistant". Based on map navigation, this function can provide car owners with detailed fee estimates for each section of the expressway and the entire journey. If the owner has any doubts about the toll amount, he or she can also use Amap’s route navigation records and “ETC Reconciliation Assistant" is used as a reference for review materials.

In August last year, Amap was updated to version v10, with a comprehensive upgrade in product design and business functions. It also launched a new brand slogan: "Go, use Amap."

Liu Zhenfei, President of AutoNavi Group, said that this comprehensive product refresh means that AutoNavi Maps has officially entered a new strategic development stage: from a map navigation tool to a national travel platform.
