The first option in the conversation with the NPC is highlighted by default. At this time, the selected option can be changed by pressing the W and S keys.

Pressing space is equivalent to left-clicking on the selected item.

For example: when walking near a teleportation point, press the space bar to switch maps; when near an NPC, press the space bar to talk to that NPC.
