Orrick hard drive enclosure driver is a driver specially designed for Orrick brand hard drive enclosures. It aims to solve the compatibility problem of large-capacity hard drives (especially hard drives exceeding 2TB) in hard drive enclosures.

FAQ

Hard drive not recognized

Reason: The driver is not loaded correctly, the hard disk is not initialized, and the system partition is restricted (for example, XP does not support 3TB+ hard disk).

Solution:

Check the status of the hard disk in Disk Management. If "Offline" is displayed, right-click to connect it online; if "Unallocated" is displayed, initialize and create a new partition.

For hard drives larger than 2TB, make sure the partition is formatted as GPT rather than MBR.

XP system users need to upgrade to Win7 and above, or use a third-party partition tool (such as DiskGenius) to manage the hard drive.
