TP-LINK TL-WR882N wireless router firmware

TP-LINK TL-WR882NV1.0 wireless router firmware 140120 standard version (released on February 12, 2014) Pulian’s TL-WR882N is claimed to be the router with the fastest transmission rate in the 2.4GHz band, and its appearance and color matching are quite design-friendly. The official website recently released the latest firmware for this router, but there is no update (presumably just to improve stability). Users in need are recommended to download the update.
Note: 1. The upgrade software must be consistent with the current product model and hardware version;
2. Do not turn off the power of the router during the upgrade process, otherwise it may cause damage to the router;
3. Please use wired connection when upgrading, do not use wireless connection.
* Software upgrades are generally to improve the product's support for certain special environments and special applications. If your product is currently in normal use, it is not recommended that you upgrade the product.
The following uses TL-WR842N V4.0 as an example to introduce the software upgrade method. The upgrade interface is as shown below:
Please follow the steps below to upgrade: 1. Enter the router's management page, open "System Tools" -> "Software Upgrade", click "Browse" and select the .bin file to be upgraded;
2. Click Upgrade. There will be a prompt message after the upgrade is successful.
During the upgrade process, you may encounter the following error message:
"The upgrade was unsuccessful. The version number of the transferred file is incorrect. Please check whether the file name is correct." - Please make sure that the downloaded upgrade file matches the router model (TL-WR842N in this case) and hardware version (V4. 0) is corresponding.
