Journey to Mars

Management is Mars The key to the Horizon game. You'll need to design and build the right spacecraft, hire and train a crew, and make strategic decisions for mission control to successfully complete your journey to Mars.

Form diplomatic partnerships with other space agencies to share the rewards of space exploration, or venture out alone to gain greater reputation. Build the ideal rocket using retro vehicle parts. Hire contractors to build your vehicles and use their unique highlights to gain a critical advantage over your competitors.

Face the challenge head on

Launching a payload into space is just the first step. As a flight commander in mission control, you'll need to manage your spacecraft's resources and solve strategic challenges in turn-based missions to succeed. But beware: space is a tricky environment.

Mission control involves many critical moment decisions. Would you choose to spend your energy repairing the malfunctioning antenna, or leave it alone to prevent an oxygen leak? Surviving the mission's planned three months might avoid this problem?

Mars Horizon is produced with the participation and support of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the British Space Agency.

We collaborated with ESA’s many space exploration experts to create Mars Horizon. Many engineers participated in the production, including developing technologies specific to the Mars program and designing next-generation missions, bringing unprecedented authority, authenticity and plausibility to the gameplay and scenarios.
