Google is currently testing a new feature in Chrome Canary that many users have been waiting for a long time. This feature is unobtrusive but very useful - the ability to edit saved passwords.
Google Chrome Autofill is the default password manager for hundreds of millions of users, but the feature often confuses you when your password changes and denies you the chance to update it, meaning you're forced to fill it in manually a lot of the time. .
Now a new flag in Google's Chrome Canary browser will let you edit passwords directly, hopefully correcting this problem.
To enable this feature, you must be using Chrome Canary and toggle the "Edit password in Settings" flag under chrome://flags.
The password can then be updated in Settings > Passwords. The same function is also available in the Android version of Chrome browser.
