The iOS version of Chrome has supported saving web pages for viewing later, known as the "Read Later" feature, for three years, but Google has never introduced the feature on other platforms, but that will soon change.

An entry discovered in Chromium Gerrit reveals that Google is working on bringing the Read Later feature to Chrome OS, macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The feature has been launched in the Chrome 86 Canary version, which "allows users to save tabs for later use. Enables a new button and menu for accessing tabs saved for later." However, when foreign media tried to activate the feature on macOS, they found no UI changes. It seems that this feature is still in a very early stage.
It’s unclear when Google will officially launch this feature. The current way to implement the “read later” feature in Chrome for Android is by downloading a web page.
