According to foreign media ZDnet reported today, Google has launched an advertising information display extension called "Ads transparency spotlight".

Google said that this extension can show users information such as the number of ads based on the Google advertising ecosystem mechanism, source (provider), reason for advertising (location, preferences, age, gender, etc.).

The extension is built on a new API called "Ad Disclosure Schema". The API creates a unified ad management system that allows advertisers to disclose to others how their ads are performing. Google also hopes that other customers will also expose the API/architecture of its advertising system to enhance the functionality and usability of the extension.

Starting in the spring of 2019, Google planned to develop a plan that could change the current online advertising landscape. Therefore, Google introduced the privacy sandbox feature and also announced that it will gradually remove support for third-party cookies.

In addition, Google has launched an API called Trust Token to help with the normal use of anti-fraud and anti-bot features to address problems that may arise after completely removing third-party cookies.
