How to obtain the treasure map:

After reaching level 10 in multiplayer mode, you will get a treasure map for every five levels (level 15, level 20, level 25, and so on).

Gang Hideout:

While exploring the world keep an eye out for gang hideouts, which are marked by red blobs with skulls on them.

The locations are various places in the world, such as Fort Mercer in New Austin, Quaker's Cove in West Elizabeth, or Cumberland Falls in New Hanover.

Each gang hideout has a gang leader, kill the remaining gang members and he will surrender to you. You can choose to kill or forgive, but either way you will find the treasure map on the leader's body or in a chest in the camp.

Treasure map usage:

After finding the treasure map, go into your backpack, select and use the treasure map in the document, and the location of the treasure will be marked on the map. Remember, only one treasure map can be active at a time.

Go to the target area. Once you arrive, press both joysticks at the same time to use Eagle Eye. The location of the treasure chest will be highlighted in gold.

Treasure chests in Red Dead Online usually contain half a gold bar (the premium currency), some useful items, and a modest amount of cash.

You'll find the first one in the game's tutorial, but there are actually many hiding places throughout the map.

The locations of gang hideouts discovered so far:

Gang hideouts are randomly generated, and these locations may not spawn when you visit them.

To quickly find the active gang hideouts listed below, you can switch servers.

If another player clears a gang hideout, there will be a cooldown period for it to refresh.

There may be slight differences in locations within the area, and moving around should activate icons in the minimap.

The more frequently you run between hideouts, the greater the chance of them being refreshed, just like the Tumbleweed area in New Austin.

Not every gang hideout will refresh the treasure map.

Jorge's Gap
