The amount paid in advance to the supplier in accordance with the purchase contract:
(1) The amount paid in advance by the enterprise for purchasing goods is debited to the "prepaid accounts" account and credited to the "bank deposit" account.
(2) When receiving the purchased materials, list the amount that should be included in the cost of the purchased materials based on the invoice, etc., debit "Material Purchase" or "Raw Materials", "Inventory Goods" and other accounts, and follow the instructions on the special invoice. For the value-added tax amount, the "tax payable - value-added tax payable" account will be debited, and the "prepaid accounts" account will be credited according to the amount payable.
(3) For the additional payment, the "Prepaid Accounts" account will be debited and the "Bank Deposits" account will be credited;
(4) To return the overpaid amount, the "bank deposit" account will be debited and the "prepayment account" account will be credited.
