GIF format tool area

The GIF file format uses an improved LZW compression algorithm, usually called GIF-LZW algorithm. This is a lossless compression algorithm with relatively high compression efficiency. GIF supports storing multiple color images in one GIF file, and multiple images can be read out and displayed on the screen in a certain order and time interval, thus forming a simple animation effect. Although GIF only supports up to 256 colors, it has long been widely accepted because of its excellent compression efficiency and the ability to animate. The author below introduces the format of GIF files in detail.
