semi-restore

The semi-restore tool allows users to restore a semi-system to the firmware version currently running by the user. In other words, if you want to restore iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.2, then using this tool users can perform a semi-system recovery operation and restore you to a clean iOS 6.1.2 version system (full system recovery is not possible).

Basic introduction

The Semi-Restore tool is built by CoolStar and works with iOS 5.0 to iOS 6.1.2 firmware versions. Open the Semi-Restore app and it will automatically identify the signal and firmware version of your device. The user then simply clicks the "SemiRestore" button and the recovery begins. The entire recovery process will last 5-10 minutes.

—Upgrade iOS version
— Downgrade iOS version
— Jailbreaking iOS devices
— Repair corrupted system files

Things to note

Semi-Restore tool supports Windows XP SP3 or higher, OS X 10.6 or higher. During the process of semi-restoring the system, your device may restart multiple times, which is normal.
