Answer sheet grader

The answer card grader is a tool specially used for rapid scoring. It is very convenient to use and has rich functions. It can be used to replace the scoring software of the card reader. The current version has functions such as using Excel to generate reports, generating detailed statistical data after scoring, checking for missing test numbers, and converting the binary of objective question fields into commonly used ABCD. If the software does not work properly, you need to install MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components), which can be downloaded from the Microsoft website.

When using this software, please pay attention to the following points. Taking the Taixing OMR989B card reader as an example, you must use "radio + binary" when editing format files (so that you can score indefinite items!).

There are only three fields actually used by this software, namely test number, objective question field and score field. In addition to the college entrance examination, you only need to read these three fields when reading cards for general examinations. The current version does not divide AB papers or subjects, and does not take into account absences from exams. Therefore, when using this software to score, please read only the answer sheets of the same subject and type each time. The field names used by this software by default may be different from the field names used when reading cards. The repeat mark is Flag, the subject is Subject, the test number is ID, the objective question is Content, and the score is Score. Before scoring, please use the menu: Tools -> Set Field Name to redefine your own field name. If there is no score field in the database obtained when reading the card, you can use the menu: Tools -> Add score field. If the field is not detected during scoring, it will be added automatically.

A total of four scores can be set for objective questions. For example, there are 60 multiple-choice questions, 1 point for questions 1 to 10, 1.5 points for questions 11 to 30, and 1 point for questions 31 to 60. Then the "number of question segments according to score value" is set to 3. The first paragraph is 10, with a score of 1, the second paragraph is 20, with a score of 1.5, and the third paragraph is 30, with a score of 1. For indefinite items, this software always assumes that the indefinite item is after the multiple-choice question, that there is no single-choice question after the indefinite item, and that the indefinite item has only one score (when all are correct). Enter the standard answer to the multiple-choice question in capital letters ABCDEF, and separate every five answers with semicolons. A semicolon must be entered between each answer to the indefinite item, for example: A;B;CD. Starting from version 1.63, you can enter the lowercase letter xz. If there is no answer to a certain question, enter z as the standard answer. If the standard answer situation is more complicated, you can use Wait until all changes are completed before exporting reports and class statistics. After entering the answers, click "Exam Scoring" to score, and after finishing, click "Class Statistics" to count. If the exam number has a certain pattern, for example, the first two digits indicate the class you are in, then select "No fixed prefix" in the exam number feature box, enter 1 for "Starting digit of class number", and enter 2 for "The length of characters indicating the class in the exam number" in the class box. If there is no pattern in the examination numbers, or the classes are messed up, then open the data.mdb database and build a table named ids, which contains two fields, id and StudClass. id represents the examination number field, string type, and StudClass represents the class, string type. You can process it in Excel first and then import it into ACCESS. The statistics of comprehensive subjects and class statistics are carried out at the same time, and the results include the average score of each class and each subject.

There are two options FullMatch and yuwen_m in the General section of the configuration file config.ini file. In some cases, there is more than one answer to a multiple-choice question, and points will be awarded only if all are correct. You can use FullMatch to set it. FullMatch=0 means no points will be given if all the answers are not correct, and FullMatch=1 means points will be given if all the answers are correct. There is an indefinite item in Chinese language for the second and third grade students. If a student fills in 2 answers, one is wrong and the other is correct, 2 points will be awarded. This rule is different from the general indeterminate items and needs to be set by yuwen_m=1. The grader program needs to be closed before modifying config.ini. After changing the Chinese language, be sure to remember to change yuwen_m to 0, otherwise errors will occur when changing the answer sheets for other subjects.

1. Since dbf is difficult to process and slow, all dbf file processing is now transferred to the ACCESS database data.mdb. The program will first import dbf into mdb, and then directly operate the table with the same name in mdb.

2. Solve the problem that many systems cannot open dbf files with Chinese names.

3. Cancel the use of ids.dbf and replace it with an ids table in data.mdb. Column names and data types remain unchanged.
