Teacher classroom teaching seminar learning summary

u3000u3000Last Friday, four teachers, Liu Min, Tian Huiling, and Liu Xuemei, and I went to Changsha to participate in a Chinese classroom teaching seminar. We were fortunate to meet the famous teachers Qian Menglong, Cheng Hongbing, and Han Jun in our Chinese field. They all come from the front line of teaching. Their lectures not only included summaries of their life-long experiences, but also included their reflections on contemporary Chinese education. After listening to the lecture, we gained a lot and felt a lot.

u3000u3000 Regarding Chinese classroom teaching, I have already reported to all Chinese teachers in the Chinese group, so I will not waste the teachers’ time here. What I want to say here is to talk about some opinions of our Chinese teachers based on the essence of experts’ thoughts and the actual situation of our school.

u3000u3000First of all, I will report the experts’ ideas to the teachers. Experts have all mentioned the current situation of Chinese language in middle schools and believe that Chinese language classes should pay attention to depth, detail, thoroughness and comprehensiveness, but the final result is less, slow, poor and wasteful. From the time students are able to read in elementary school to the time they graduate from high school, they are exposed to too few literary books compared to the vast field of world literature. Therefore, experts advocate improving classroom teaching efficiency. We are required to complete a thousand-word essay in one lesson, and we must read it well and recite it brilliantly, otherwise it will mislead students. So what is the time saved used for? Used to allow students to do a lot of extracurricular reading. They say that in language learning, accumulation is always more important than understanding. There is never a shortcut to learning a language. You must use the stupidest method to achieve real efficiency.
