CMake installation steps

​​ 1. Download CMake from Huajun Software Park and unzip it to the current folder. Click on the cmake-3.17.2win64-x64.msi application to enter the license agreement interface, select I agree, and click Next.

​​ 2. Select the software installation location interface. Huajun editor recommends that users install it in the D drive, select the installation location and click Next.

3. When the CMake installation is completed, click Finish.

CMake FAQ

​​​Question: How to compile using CMake?

Answer: Confirm that the NAOqi executable file and module package are not running.

​​​​Run the CMake interface.

In the "Where is the code source" field, select NAOqi SDK sample directory (for example: "/path/to/aldebaran-sdk/modules/src/helloworld").

In "Where to build the binaries" field, select a temporary build directory. If there is not one, create one (for example: "/path/to/aldebaran-sdk/modules/modules/src/examples/helloworld/build").

​​Click the "configure" button. Select the integrated development environment (IDE) you want to use. For Windows systems, select "Visual Studio 8 2005" or "Visual Studio 9 2008"; Select "UNIX Makefiles" for Linux and Mac systems.

Compile the sample project. In Linux or Mac, just "cd" to the build directory and type "make".

You can reset your project at any time. While doing so, delete the contents of the build directory and restart CMake.

                                      Do not edit Visual Studio Project, because it is generated in real time (see the Cmake program manual for details). It can be configured by editing the Cmake file.

      Q: How to uninstall CMake?

Answer: Method 1: Install and open the computer manager software, select the software management option, click the uninstall option, find the CMake software in the list, and click uninstall.

Method 2: Install and open 360 Software Manager, find the CMake software in the list of uninstall options, and click to uninstall.
