MSXML

msxml refers to Microsoft's xml language parser, which is used to interpret xml language. Just like the html text is downloaded locally, the browser will check the syntax of the html, interpret the html text and then display it. To use xml files, you must use xml parser. But not only Microsoft has it, IBM and Sun have their own xml parser.

       What is MSXML?

Its full name is: "Microsoft XML Core Services", which is mainly used to execute or develop the latest applications designed through XML.

    2. When installing the software, why does the system prompt "MSXML version 6.10.1129.0 needs to be installed on the computer and then rerun the installation program"?

The XML version that comes with the system is generally higher than the version prompted, but the registry does not have the registration items required for the installation program. Users can try the following methods:

​ ​ 1. Click "Start Run", type Registry Editor and click "OK".

​​ 2. Find HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTTypeLib{F5078F18-C551-11D3-89B9-0000F81FE221}.0win32.

3. Right-click [win32] and click "Permissions" to grant yourself full control of the item.

4. Double-click the value under win32 (default value) and then change its value from %SystemRoot%System32msxml6.dll to C:WindowsSystem32msxml6.dll.

5. Reinstall Office 2010.
