Age of Empires Game Zone

The "Age of Empires" series is a historic real-time strategy game. The first two games are set in Europe and Asia from the Stone Age to the Classical Age; one explores the formation and expansion of the Roman Empire. The next two volumes are set in the Middle Ages and the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. The next three games explore modern history, with the colonization of the Americas and the rise of Asian nations in the background. "Age of Mythology", a branch of the game series, is set in roughly the same era as the first "Age of Empires", but is dominated by Greek, ancient Egyptian and Nordic mythology.
