LibreOffice is a full-featured office suite, which means it has the same features as its predecessor, or even more than other office suites (which are free). Other software usually has three popular parts, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. LibreOffice arguably goes beyond them, adding software publishing and databases, as well as an additional feature of its own: a math-focused software.

A nice feature is that LibreOffice can be taken anywhere. You can install it on your USB flash drive or portable hard drive, or even an SD card, wherever you put it.

The interface of LibreOffice is not as gorgeous as Microsoft Office, but it is very simple and practical. Its six major components correspond to Office, and it has lower system configuration requirements and takes up very little resources.

1. LibreOffice supports importing SVG images and modifying and editing them directly in the document;
