There is no limit to the tire material—the players who crave the most drifting should never use racing tires. This tire provides a lot of grip and is not suitable for drift racing. But to get high on the drift zone leaderboard, you may need racing tires. Racing tires are not recommended for players who are not very good at drifting.

Contrary to popular belief, grip is very important in drifting. Without grip you won't have speed, and you won't be able to prevent the vehicle from skidding and losing control. The stock tires will cause a lot of slippage and less grip. Sport tires will have less slip and more grip. Street tires are somewhere in between.

If your setup has 400-500HP, you'll want to consider stock or street tires. If your setup has 500+ HP, you should try street and sport tires to suit your needs

Tire width - This depends on personal preference and varies according to different modification trends. Simply put, wider tires = more grip. More front grip = more impact on steering angle.

Too much front grip will make it difficult to maintain your drift angle because your front tire will constantly pull you back to the line of travel, often leading to push/spin. Insufficient rear grip = lower speed/more chance of skidding. Too much rear grip = it is difficult to make the rear wheel slip and drift, which often results in the drift angle being straightened.

Rim, as long as it is not too heavy that makes it difficult for the wheel to slip.

Rim size - the best choice is 18 or 19 inches. A rim that is too small will have a sidewall that is too thick and the sidewalls will be larger and softer. A rim that is too large will make the sidewalls too thin and the sidewalls smaller and stronger.

The large sidewall makes the tire shake a lot in big corners. This happens frequently but not continuously, and the grip is also a mystery due to the contact surface. Thin sidewalls make the tire more stable in tight corners, resulting in less but more consistent grip. The reason for the 18 and 19-inch wheels is that they are just the middle size.

Aerodynamics Appearance Kit - It's basically the same thing, but not Forza.

Some kits will reduce weight slightly. The Forza rear wing allows you to adjust aerodynamics in the tuning settings.

Wide Body - A wide body will increase the maximum tire width (and look sharp). If you want wider tires for improved grip, install a wide body if possible.

Tire pressure:

Tire pressure changes the tire's contact area, which is the area in contact with the ground. More tire pressure = less grip and vice versa.

Front Tire Pressure – Front tire pressure determines how quickly your steering responds. More front tire pressure = sluggish steering and vice versa.

Rear Tire Pressure - Rear tire pressure determines how easily the wheels turn and also increases or decreases rear wheel speed at full throttle. Coupled with gear ratio adjustment, it can prevent you from leaving the red zone when drifting, which is also your purpose.

The above is the Forza Horizon 4 tire adjustment method brought by the editor. Friends who are not familiar with it should not miss it.
