1. Interface comparison evaluation
There are obvious differences between "Baidu Map" and "Amap" in terms of interface design. In the main interface, "Baidu Map" places shortcut entrances to the main functions below, and sets an entrance to voice input next to the search box, although it is very convenient. "Amap" imitates the layout design of "Google Maps", setting the functions near the search box, and calling up the main function menu through the left and right drawer-style interface, thus increasing the visible area of the map, as shown in Figure 1 Shown:
(Figure 1)
2. Comparison of routes and navigation
The route and navigation interfaces are also relatively similar, but "Baidu Map" separates routes and navigation, making them relatively convenient to use. "Amap" requires more steps to navigate after determining the route.
In terms of offline maps, there is not much difference between "Baidu Map" and "Amap". There is no obvious difference in the supported regions and map offline package size. However, "Baidu Map" supports manual import of offline maps, which is more convenient, such as Figure 2 shows:
(Figure 2)
Both Amap and Baidu map software have their own characteristics. You can choose the navigation that suits you according to your preferences.
