Installation method
1. Run the installation file. During installation, the installation directory of JX3binMovieEditor will be automatically found and installed in the ..JX3binMovieEditor directory.
2. When the installation is completed, "Run MovieEditor" is checked by default, and you can run the animation editor directly. After the installation is completed, a desktop shortcut will be generated, and you can also find MovieEditor.exe in the program menu and run it.
2. Resource file description
File format description
*.Kms animation editing file. The format in which project files created in animation editing are stored and can be edited.
*.kmsc animation file. Animation file format used for client playback and cannot be edited.
*.Mesh ordinary model file.
*.Mdl A combined model composed of multiple meshes, generally used for humans and animals.
*.ModelSet A combined model composed of multiple meshes, mainly a collection of objects.
*.Mtl material file, records the material path.
*.Ani animation file.
*.Sfx special effects files.
*.Actor Objects placed in the scene can be exported to Actor format, and actors edited in the character editor can also be saved as custom resources *.Actor.
*.Action sub-animations can be exported to Action format, and actions edited in the character editor can also be saved as custom action resources *.Action.
3. Unit description
The default unit of geometry measurement in the editor is centimeters.
The default time measurement unit in the editor is milliseconds.
The unit on the timeline in the editor is frame, 1 second corresponds to 30 frames, and the frame interval is 33.33 milliseconds.
How to use
1. Open method
1. When starting MovieEditor, select to open the map editor.
2. After successfully opening, the map editor interface will be displayed. Currently, only the file menu is available, with the functions of creating a new map, opening a map, and saving a map.
2. Create a new map
1. Use the "New" menu button to create a new map file.
2. Select the map size. The default value is 128 and the unit is cm. Taking the Daoxiang Village map as an example, the map size of Daoxiang Village is.
3. Use the "OK" button to create the terrain. On the right side of the interface, you can see the functional classification of the terrain editor. You can set the sky (background scroll), place resources, and modify the terrain.
4. Use the "Save" or "Save As" menu button to save the edited map file.
5. Enter the map name in the pop-up naming dialog box. The map file will be saved in the MovieEditorsourceMap folder by default.
6. The newly created map can be found in the original map list when opening the map.
3. Open the map
1. Use the "Open" menu button to open an existing map file for editing.
2. Select the map to be edited from the map list. The list is divided into official maps and original maps.
3. Double-click the selected map to load the map editor. On the right side of the interface, you can see the functional classification of the terrain editor. You can set the sky (background scroll), place resources, and modify the terrain.
4. When loading the map, the viewport displays the scene of the camera at the origin of the map. You need to move the viewport to the place that needs to be edited. The shortcut keys are the same as those in the animation editor, see "Shortcut Keys".
5. Select the object in the scene for editing. You can use the Select (shortcut key 1), Move (shortcut key 2), Rotate (shortcut key 3), and Zoom (shortcut key 4) buttons on the menu bar to edit the object.
6. Select the background scroll from the sky list to replace the sky box of the original scene.
7. Select objects from the resource list and place them in the scene, and use shortcut key 1 to cancel and continue placing them.
8. After editing the map, use the "Save" and "Save As" menu buttons to save the map. The official map will be saved to the directory of the original map; if the original map is opened, the opened map will be saved when saving.
