Instructions for use
Set screen parameters
The screen parameter setting item is used to set menu items, mainly to set various parameters of the control card and software, including the number of LED displays connected in parallel on the same bus, the size of each screen, the type of control card, communication method, Screen port, IP address settings, line order and data status.
Click Set Screen Parameters or press the shortcut key to pop up the password dialog window.
The password dialog box can prevent parameters from being maliciously modified. The initial password168, press the OK button and the parameter setting window will pop up.
The pop-up screen parameters setting dialog box has 5 tabs, which are screen settings, scanning mode, network address settings, parameter readback, and communication wiring diagram.
The far left is the display list area, which lists all currently loaded screens. You can click the [Add] [Delete] button above the list to add and delete LED displays. (Note: The same graphic control system can be loaded with up to 999 LED displays.)
The screen settings are divided into four areas
The hardware setting area is used to set the controller model (currently three models are available) and communication mode (serial communication and network transmission are optional).
When setting up the serial port, you can change the port number and baud rate of the serial port (the default value is 57600).
The network setting area provides the port number and IP address of the LED display that can be modified.
The screen setting area provides 7 options. They are display name, controller address, row order (normal, +1 and -1 optional), maximum row control point (depending on the controller model), maximum column control point (depending on the controller model) , the color mode displayed (depending on the screen itself and the controller) and the data status.
Note: Click the horizontal point or vertical point input box, hold down the up direction key to automatically increase the number of control points, and hold down the down direction key to decrease the number of control points.
FAQ
6.1Why is the time not displayed correctly after the system is started?
This is most likely caused by failure to correct the clock after you finished editing the program. Please run the LED display control system, select and click the "Time Calibration" button. If the system time still cannot be displayed normally after you correct the clock, please check whether the button battery on the controller is loose. You can gently press it with your fingers or replace it with a new button battery in time.
6.2Why does it fail when I check the screen?
This is because you have not connected the controller to your PC. Please make sure the controller is properly connected and delete all displays in the display list before you start the graphic control system.
6.3Why do transmission errors occur?
This is usually caused by the serial port cable and the LED display screen being detached or loose. Please check the cables carefully and make sure they are connected correctly.
6.4How to change the position and size of the program area?
If you want to change the position and size of the program area, you must enter the option to set the screen parameters. à Menu à Settings à Set screen parameters. After entering, you can set it to any size and position according to your own requirements. This can be achieved by entering the starting point coordinates in the parameter box or directly dragging the area edge in the preview box with the mouse.
6.5Why does it look motionless after selecting various action effects?
This is most likely because you forgot to select the "Clear while playing" option after selecting the action effects to play, or the waiting time you set is too long. Therefore, in this case, you only need to change the waiting time to play. Just make it shorter.
6.6Why does communication fail when I choose network communication?
This is most likely because your computer IP is automatically obtained or is not in the same network segment as the controller IP. Please choose a stand-alone direct connection or set the computer IP to be in the same network segment as the controller.
6.7why i use485When communicating with multiple screens, can you only communicate with one screen?
This is most likely because you have not assigned an address to the controller. Please enter the password "888" in the setting screen parameter menu to assign an address to each card.
6.8Why do the prompt areas overlap when sending data?
This is most likely because when you are partitioning, the area border touches a piece. Please use the mouse to adjust the size or position of the area. Or set the overlapping area as the background area.
