Function introduction
1. Intelligent paragraph correction
Correct articles that wrap by word count to wrap by paragraph, automatically delete empty paragraphs, and select single or double line breaks as needed.
2. Remove the distractor (*)
In order to prevent others from copying articles, some websites deliberately use hidden irregular characters (garbled characters). This function automatically deletes these garbled characters and returns you a clean and tidy article. Correct spaces at the beginning and end of paragraphs.
3. Delete spaces at the end of paragraphs
Add two full-width spaces at the beginning of the paragraph, and the originally messy article will become so neat.
4. Exchange traditional and simplified fonts
The articles copied from Hong Kong and Taiwan are all in traditional Chinese, but the company website requires the use of simplified Chinese. What should I do? With GIDOT TYPESETTER, you don't have to look for traditional Chinese character conversion software everywhere. Typesetting and font conversion can be done at once!
5. Full-width and half-width can be interchanged at will
Convert full-width punctuation and English letters to half-width, or convert half-width punctuation and English letters to full-width.
6. Correct punctuation marks
Convert many consecutive periods into ellipses, convert periods in the text into periods, and correct asymmetric quotation marks.
7. One-click typesetting and copying
That is, after one-click layout is selected for layout, you can minimize GIDOT TYPESETTER. After copying the article, press ALT+Q and the software will automatically layout the articles in the clipboard. The copying and typesetting function completely cancels ALT+Q. The moment the article is copied to the clipboard, the software has organized the article and stored it in the clipboard. Press paste to remove it.
How to use
Open the typesetting assistant, and we can see that commonly used typesetting function buttons are arranged under the five menu options. Below the commonly used function buttons are the most basic setting options for typesetting. If it is the typesetting of general articles, it is more than enough:
If the typesetting requirements are more complex, we can also set the function display at the bottom of the interface, such as Simplified and Traditional Chinese conversion. Or if we need more detailed settings for typesetting, we can also set them in the typesetting settings, such as setting the full-width and half-width indent spaces, as well as some special functions.
If you need more advanced typesetting, you can also set it through the "Convenient Toolbox" in the upper right corner of the interface. For example, if you select the "Web Page" function button to import text with HTML code, we can also remove the HTML code function in the typesetting gadget.
Here we specifically point out two more practical functions that are very user-friendly, namely the typesetting settings: first and last signatures and batch typesetting. The first and last signatures make it easy to automatically add your signature or ID when typing the article. It is a must. There is also batch typesetting, batch processing of a bunch of files, which is convenient, fast and efficient!
