Function introduction
The interface is clear, with only 3 functions that are clear at a glance.Disable/enable the host, update the online version of the file, manually edit the host, simple and practical, very convenient!
How to use
There are only 3 buttons on the interface after running. The first one is used to disable the hosts function. If you want to temporarily display blocked ads, just click this.
The third button is the hosts file editor. Using it, you can start editing without using the resource manager to open the path where the hosts file is located, which can save a lot of time.
This editor can also easily add, change, and disable the URLs in the Hosts file.
Software features
Sometimes, when you open a frequently visited website, you will be automatically redirected to the error page 202.102.110.207:8080/1.htm, but you can open it again after the computer restarts.
In fact, this is caused by the DNS cache and can be solved by refreshing the DNS cache. Under normal circumstances, we need to use the command prompt to use this function, and there are many command characters, so most people may not be able to remember it.
With HostsMan, it's completely different. You only need to click the "flush DNS Cache" menu item in the "tools" menu to achieve the same effect.
The "hosts"-"scan hosts file" menu can check whether there are any problems with the edited Hosts file.
In addition to the above,HostsMan also comes with a Hosts file backup tool, which can also quickly open cmd and use the resource manager to quickly open the Hosts folder.
