Windows Defender is Microsoft's real -time anti -malicious software tools. This is its latest definition update package. After downloading, it can automatically complete the update.
This download includes 32 -bit and 64 -bit.
Note: To install files on a computer based on Windows Vista, right -click the file with a mouse, and then click the running and store it as an administrator to install it.
When the file is running, a file extraction dialog box appears. The dialog box indicates that the definition is being installed. After the file extraction dialog box is turned off, you can verify that the Windows Defender definition has been updated. To this end, open the Windows Defender, and then check the defined version listed in the bottom box of the Windows Defender Home dialog box.
Corporate customers should use Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) version 2.0 or higher versions to distribute Windows Defender definition updates. However, these customers can also use the user login script to manually install a definition update to define the update file by running a Windows Defender.
Note: To use this definition update, you must confirm that Windows Defender has been installed in the computer.
