Steel structure CAD installation method

There are two steps in total (this installation method is applicable to all AutoCAD versions and only needs to be done for the first time):

Step 1: Double-click "Steel Structure CAD Installer" and install its files into the AutoCAD program folder (such as: D:ProgramFilesAutoCAD2008);

Second step: The installation program automatically activates and runs the AutoCAD program (if it does not automatically activate and run AutoCAD, it means that the AutoCAD program folder in the first step was not correctly selected, and you can re-execute the first step). Enter three plus signs +++ on the command line and press Enter. The "Steel Structure CAD Loader" interface will appear (if the "Loader" interface does not appear, it means that the AutoCAD program folder in the first step was not selected correctly, and you can re-execute the first step). Follow the prompts to complete.

Note: Before installing "Steel Structure CAD", please close the running AutoCAD.

Note 1. In the first step, the target folder in the installation program is only the default. During actual operation, you should click the "Browse" button to select the correct AutoCAD program folder.

      注2：如果在第二步中执行完“钢构CAD加载”之后，在AutoCAD顶端工具栏中未出现_钢__结__构_时，应取消以下文件的只读属性：acad.mnu(仅2000～5有)、 acad.lin, acadiso.lin, acad.pat, acadiso.pat, acad.pgp, the above file locations are fixed in their installation directories for 2000 to 4, and for 2005 and above versions are fixed on the C drive.

In AutoCAD 2006 and above, when the load menu selects and enters 2006, the _steel__structure_structure_three-click pull-down menu will appear at the top. If the load menu selects and enters 2008, the _steel__structure_structure_three-click pull-down menu will not appear at the top, but the active toolbar can be called to make the entire AutoCAD program interface simpler. There are two menus, 2006 and 2008. You can uninstall and load another menu at any time.

Note 3: If you want to use this program in the "Tianzheng Architecture" or "Explorer" or "Tsinghua Tianhe" program, you can open the acaddoc.LSP file in the AutoCAD installation directory and change the last line of it "Steel Structure CAD Loading Code" (see the following line):

​​Copy it completely to the top or last line of the acaddoc.LSP file in the "Tianzheng Architecture" or "Explorer" or "Tsinghua Tianhe" folder. If other programs have set this file in the AutoCAD installation directory, also copy the "Steel Structure CAD Loading Code" completely and put it in the last line, and merge it into one file, so that this file can be shared with each other.

Note 4: In a multi-user system, any user can use the program under this program, but to load the activation menu, the second step should be performed: enter three plus signs +++ and press Enter.

Note 5: When the program is installed, it will automatically back up the current AutoCAD user's menus, shortcut commands, line types and fill pattern files. During the installation process, you can choose to retain the current shortcut commands and other settings. When you feel uncomfortable after using it, you can select "Backup and Restore" under "_Construct_" to selectively restore shortcut commands and other content. Plug-in menus in AutoCAD cannot be backed up and restored and can be reloaded with a loading application. Such menus have nothing to do with AutoCAD's own menus.

Note 6: If you still cannot install it after pressing the above, you can delete AUTOCAD and reinstall it (only change the drive letter during installation, do not change the rest), and then install this program.

Because some original files are still left after deletion, the toolbar menu may not return to the original state of AUTOCAD after reinstallation. In this case, after deleting AUTOCAD, you can manually delete the original folder where AUTOCAD was installed, and then install AUTOCAD and it will return to its original state. At this time, you can choose whether to install Steel Structure CAD.

Note 7: If a lower version of "Steel Structure CAD" has been installed before, for AutoCAD2006 and above, after completing the first step, the CAD program will activate and run on its own. For AutoCAD2000～2005, you need to complete the first and second steps. Before doing this, please back up the DWG graphic files you have set up, such as "My Icon Bar.dwg, Loft Icon Bar.dwg", etc., and then restore them after the upgrade is completed.

Note 8: The acaddoc.LSP file in the AutoCAD installation directory is a startup file used to support plug-in programs. "Steel Structure CAD" only needs to add a line of startup code to this file: (load"rqggcadcxjzvj.fas") to run the program normally. However, some viruses will also borrow this file, so some plug-ins or anti-virus software will delete this file. Without this file, the CAD plug-in program loaded and run by this file will not be able to run.
