Driver installation method
Not only Xiaomi mobile phone drivers are installed in this way, but other mobile phones can also follow this method.
Correctly reinstalling the driver is divided into two steps:
1. Complete uninstallation of the driver:
First, put the phone into FB mode (FASTBOOT), then connect it to the computer, open the device manager and find it
Right click on it - Uninstall Remember to check the box to delete the driver software for this device
Then re-detect the hardware changes
Then there will be a bubble prompt to install the updated driver in the lower right corner of the computer, or this will appear.
If your computer is well configured and the Internet speed is fast, you should move faster. Don't let it automatically search and install the driver (if it is set not to automatically search or there is no network, you can take your time...)
(If the operation is slow, it is recommended that you delete the driver again)
Then an unidentified device will appear on your computer, right! We just want it to be unrecognized...
Then right click on it and these menus will appear
At this point, even if the first step is completed... it means that you have completely uninstalled Xiaomi's driver...
The second step is to install the driver
(Because my computer is in the laboratory and there is no network, I just encountered a driver problem when I flashed it. The driver package was deleted by me... Anyone who has used the old version of MF children's shoes knows that the program will be automatically installed when it is run for the first time, indicating that there are driver files in the MF directory...
At the end of the first step, right-click the "unknown" device and update the driver.
Select Browse my computer for.... (manual search) below to navigate to the MF directory and check Include subfolders
The MF directory is the directory where the following things are located
Then if there is a problem that the driver cannot be verified, just click Install Always...
Once completed, you will see it again in Device Manager
