Note: It is best to use FAT32 for active and recovery partitions! ! !
Instructions for use: (Take 2000/XP/2003 as an example, 98 will not be introduced)
Please use the software under the operating system with the highest version after all operating systems have been installed.
Step 1: Add DOS boot
Here you can set the content of the menu (available in Chinese, English, Korean, and Japanese languages), the waiting delay, and the storage location of GHOST (the drive sequence recognized under Windows). GHOST version is
8.2.
Step Two: Restore Menu
The settings here must be accurate, especially for machines with multiple hard drives.
The location of GHOST mentioned here refers to: in a DOS environment, the name of the logical drive where the GHOST released in the first step is located. The location here is not necessarily the same as the location in the first step.
1. Menu content: You can define it with the name of the operating system, only in English.
2. Which hard drive: range is 1~9.
3. Which partition: range is 1~9.
4. Backup file name: The GHOST file name used for recovery must be accurate.
5. DOS environment: "1": without any tools, only DOS7.1 boot file, mouse, etc.
"2": In addition to boot files, it also includes BIOS modification tools (mainly for installing OEM XP), optical drives, NTFS, etc.
Once the setup is complete, you can restart your computer and enter DOS7.1.
Step Three: Create a Backup
After DOS7.1 boots, you will directly enter GHOST. If you have not backed up, GHOST will prompt you that the file does not exist and return to DOS state. This means that you are only one step away from success. You only need to type " B" is enough!!!
