Moiré is a high-frequency interference that occurs in the photosensitive elements of digital cameras or scanners, which causes colored high-frequency stripes to appear in images. Since moiré patterns are irregular, there is no obvious shape regularity.
Adobe PhotoshopDemoirize pluginMoire fringes can be removed from images through three different filtering modes: Advanced, Unicolor Textiles, and Skin and Hair.
How to use
How to install the Demoirize plug-in to remove Moiré stripes: After downloading, double-click DeMoirize_Setup.exe to install, and the plug-in will be loaded into Photoshop.
Call up and use: Select the area with moiré stripes in Photoshop and click DeMoirize in the Phase One A/S option under the filter menu.
Phase One's Demoirize plug-in for Adobe Photoshop removes moire fringes from images through three different filtering modes:
Advanced (advanced), Unicolor Textiles (single-color textiles) and Skin and Hair (skin and hair).
Demoirize's plug-in window is divided into two independent views: Original Image (original image) shows the image before correction, and Corrected Image (corrected image) shows the effect of the image after correction.
Advanced mode: A new type of filtering tool. It is also the default mode of the Demoirize plugin. In Advanced mode, the filter estimates color using the Quality/Speed slider and Pattern Size slider. Typically, the molar effect of color is seen in multiple color changing regions of "red/green" or "blue/yellow". These discolored areas appear to the naked eye as numerous stripes. The larger the stripes, the larger the pattern size should be set.
Pattern Size: The best way to determine the optimal pattern size is to move the Quality/Speed slider toward Speed while moving the Pattern Size slider toward Large ( Large) one side movement. As you move the slider, you can see the effect of the correction on the screen. Choosing a pattern size that is larger than what is actually required usually does not have a favorable effect on the results. The spinning circular arrow icon indicates that the Demoirize filter is currently evaluating image data.
Quality/Speed: If there is a lot of moiré, the Quality/Speed slider should be closer to the Quality side, trading speed for quality. If you want image details smaller than the selected pattern size to be less or less affected by the filter, use the Quality setting.
Tips
Use Advanced mode for skin and hair: For skin and hair surfaces, the best settings for the Advanced filter are to place the Quality/Speed slider in the Speed position and the Pattern Size Size slider set to Small. Larger areas of color moiré in the hair require larger pattern size settings.
Use Advanced mode for textiles: For textiles, the best setting for the Advanced filter is to have the Quality/Speed slider in the middle or toward the Speed side. Then move the Pattern Size slider to the Small setting. In many cases where solid or near-solid areas are masked, the accuracy of using the Advanced filter is less than using the single-color Textile filter. Because masking effects are highly dependent on image type, we recommend that you experiment with various masking and filter settings.
