Very good, it is a simulation program and will not actually separate the hard drive.
For those who really want to learn computers, I think they must know how to partition new hard drives.
Comrades, don’t miss it.

Partitioning and formatting the hard drive are steps that every hard drive must go through. Here I will explain in detail how to use FDISK to partition the hard disk.
The FDISK program is the partitioning software that comes with DOS and Windows systems. Although its functions are not as good as some software, it is very safe to use it to partition. Here are the specific steps:
1) Enter DOS mode. When the system boots and "Starting Windows...." appears, press the "F8" key, and then select "Command Prompt Only" to enter DOS mode.
2) Type "FDISK" and press Enter to enter.
3) At this time, the software will ask you whether it supports FAT32. Answer "Y" to create a FAT32 partition. Answer "N" to use FAT16. Press Enter after deciding.
4) The main menu of FDISK appears. To create a partition, please select "1" and press Enter.
5) Create the primary partition (Primary Partition), select "1" and press Enter.
6) At this time, the system will ask you whether to use the largest available space as the primary partition. If you answer "Y", then the software will divide all the disk space into one partition. If you answer "N", you can divide it into multiple partitions. For Today's hard drives are generally relatively large and difficult to manage if divided into one partition, so you can choose to enter "N" to divide it into multiple partitions.
7) The software will prompt you to enter the size of the primary partition, enter it and press Enter.
8) After completion, press the ESC key to return to the main menu.
9) For a hard disk, an active partition must be set before the operating system can be booted, so we need to enter item "2".
10) This will prompt the user to enter the number of the active partition. Since there is only one partition, enter "1". After completion, an "A" will be displayed in the status bar, indicating that this partition is the active partition.
11) A hard disk can only have one primary partition, so if you want to divide the remaining hard disk space now, you must create an extended partition. Return to the main menu and select "2".
12) The program will prompt the user to enter the size of the extended partition.
13) After the extended partition is created, the relevant information of the primary partition and extended partition will be displayed. Press the ESC key.
14) At this time, it will prompt that there is no logical disk. You can divide the entire extended partition into one logical disk, or into several logical disks. Now you can enter the size of the first logical disk and press Enter.
15) The relevant information of the first logical disk will be displayed and you will be asked to enter the size of the second logical disk.
16) After completion, you can press the ESC key to return to the main menu.
17) At this time, press ESC to exit FDISK and restart, and you can format the partition.
If you are repartitioning a hard disk that has been divided into partitions, you must first enter the third item in the main menu to delete the partition before proceeding.
PS: There are many partitioning methods now. You can start PE and then use the PE system to partition. The speed is very fast. Generally, system CDs have partitioning software.
