7-Zip is a free software distributed under the GNU/LPGL protocol. It can be said that it is currently the most promising file compression format to become the next mainstream compression format after zip and rar. 7Zip's compression rate is its biggest competitive advantage. We can easily beat WinRAR's highest compression rate when choosing a normal compression rate.
