MIUI (Miyou) is a mobile operating system developed by Xiaomi Technology based on Android. It is specially designed for Chinese people's habits, comprehensively improves the native experience, and can bring domestic users a more intimate Android smartphone experience. In the five years since MIUI was released, the R&D team has reached 750 people, and a total of 293 versions have been released through weekly upgrades. It has 200 million active users in 156 countries and regions and 32 languages.
On August 13, 2015, Xiaomi held a press conference and released a new generation of Miyou operating system, MIUI 7. On May 10, 2016, Xiaomi Technology released the new MIUI 8 mobile operating system. The new version of the system has made bold improvements in colors, interactive animations, system fonts, etc. Functionally, it provides functions such as application/mobile phone clones and scanning to answer questions.
