MIUI (Miyou) is a mobile operating system developed by Xiaomi Technology based on Android. It is specially designed for Chinese people's habits, comprehensively improves the native experience, and can bring domestic users a more intimate Android smartphone experience. In the five years since MIUI was released, the R&D team has reached 750 people, and a total of 293 versions have been released through weekly upgrades. It has 200 million active users in 156 countries and regions and 32 languages.
On August 13, 2015, Xiaomi held a press conference and released a new generation of Miyou operating system, MIUI 7. The new MIUI 8 mobile operating system released by Xiaomi Technology on May 10, 2016. The new version of the system has made bold improvements in colors, interactive animations, system fonts, etc. Functionally, it provides functions such as application/mobile phone clones and scanning to answer questions.
