FAQ
When scanning, it prompts "The file is locked and cannot be opened."
Cause: The file is being used by another program or system, or the protected file cannot be scanned.
Solution: Ignore the blue prompt (red indicates virus alert, brown indicates deleted virus); if the file is encrypted, clear the password and scan again.
License expired or version mismatch
Phenomenon: The protection status prompts "Authorization is used on the wrong version."
Solution: Make sure you purchased anti-virus software (ESET NOD32 Antivirus) instead of the security suite (ESET Smart Security). The two accounts are not compatible; renew through the official mall or dealer.
