iRiver D88 electronic dictionary firmware version 1.05
Fixed the problem of displaying errors when entering words in the Chinese-Korean dictionary. Notes: 1. When upgrading, the D88 or microSD card should retain more than 50M of remaining space; 2. Please delete the d88soft folder manually after upgrading.
Upgrade method: Please copy the upgrade file to the MicroSD card or D88 host memory to upgrade.
1. The downloaded .zip file is decompressed into a d88soft folder, which contains a d88code file;
Method 1. Use microSD card firmware upgrade:
1-1. Copy the d88soft folder to a MicroSD card (d88code files must be placed in the d88soft folder);
1-2. Insert the MicroSD card into the D88. After powering on, press the "Settings/Sentence Translation" key on the top function key twice to enter the system settings. Select "System Upgrade" and press the ENTER key to upgrade.
Method 2. Firmware upgrade without using microSD card:
2-1. Connect D88 to the computer, turn it on and press the "Settings/Sentence Translation" key on the top function key twice to enter the system settings, select "USB Connection" and press the ENTER key;
2-2. The computer shows that the D88 removable disk has been connected;
2-3. Copy the d88soft folder decompressed in the first step to the D88 removable disk (the d88code file must be placed in the d88soft folder);
2-4. Disconnect the D88 from the computer. After the system automatically restarts, enter the system settings again, select "System Upgrade" and press the ENTER key to upgrade;
3.D88 detects the upgrade file and starts the upgrade;
4. The system automatically restarts twice to complete the upgrade.
