How to use Cocosenor iTunes Password Tuner
Step 1: Open the software
Download the software, install it on your computer, and launch it.
Step 2: Add iTunes Backup File
Clicking to open the software will automatically display all iTunes backup bottles in a pop-up dialog box.
Select your iTunes backup file and click "OK" to import it.
Note: If your iTunes backup file does not appear in the "Select iTunes Backup File" window, please click the "Add File" button to add the backup file manually. It is usually located in the following folder:

Step 3: Select attack mode and configure parameters
Click the drop-down list below to select an attack type.
Then configure the corresponding parameters.
Step 4: Recover iTunes Backup Password

Which attack type to choose and how to configure parameters?
Under Attack Type, click the drop-down list and you'll see four types of attacks: Brute Force, Mask, Dictionary, and Smart.

If you choose a brute force attack, set a password range and length to reduce recovery time.
Mask attack: In this attack mode, unknown characters can be specified using the symbol "?". . If you remember part of your password, brute force with a mask attack is highly recommended.
If you choose Brute Force with Shield Attack, first select Brute Force Attack to set the password range and length.
Then select Mask Attack to set the Start, End, and Mask boxes. For example, if your password is "abcd1234" and you only remember that the last four characters are "1234", then you can set the "end at" box to "1234" and the "mask" box to "???"1234". The ?" symbol represents an unknown character.
Dictionary attack: In this attack mode, the iTunes password recovery engine will try all character combinations stored in the password dictionary.
If you choose dictionary attack, you can find the built-in dictionary where this application is installed and list all possible character combinations into the dictionary to shorten iTunes password recovery time.
You can also list all possible passwords to Notepad, one password per line, and then save it to create a password dictionary yourself. Then click the "Select Dictionary" button to select the self-created dictionary to recover password.
Smart attack: In this attack mode, the program will try all printable character combinations. Choose this attack type if you cannot recall any information about your password. But this will take more time than other attack types.
