AD14 function introduction
1. AD14 supports flexible and soft-hard combination design
Hard and soft circuits combine the processing capabilities of rigid circuits with the diversity of soft circuits. Most components are placed in rigid circuits that are then connected to flexible circuits, which can twist, bend, and fold into small or unique shapes. Altium Designer supports the use of soft and hard circuits in electronic design, opening the door to more innovations. It also provides smaller packaging of electronics, saving material and production costs and increasing durability.
2. Enhanced management of layer stacks
Altium layer stack management supports layers 4-32. There is a single main stack in the middle of the layers, from which any number of sub-stacks can be defined. They can be placed in different areas of soft and hard circuits, facilitating cooperation and communication between stacks. Altium Designer 14 enhances the layer stack manager to quickly and intuitively define primary and secondary stacks.
3. Vault content library
With Altium Designer 14 and the upcoming Altium Vault, data can be reliably copied directly from one Altium Vault to another. It can be supplemented or modified, but basic footprint layer sets and symbols are automatically converted to meet your organization's standards.

4. Board design enhancement
Altium Designer 14 includes a range of technologies required to enhance our circuit board design. With our new differential pair routing tool, impedance is always maintained when the trace gap changes. Stitching has been significantly improved and gives good results and greater control.
5. Support embedded components
Stacking embedded components in the PCB layer can reduce the space occupied, support higher signal frequencies, reduce signal noise, and improve the integrity of circuit signals. Altium Designer 14 supports embedded discrete components, which can be manufactured as individuals during assembly and placed in the inner circuitry.
AD14 installation tutorial
1. Download the installation package from Huajun Software Park, right-click the installation exe file, and open it as an administrator
2. Enter the software installation interface, and then click [Next] on the page
3. Language [Select language] select Chinese, choose to accept the terms and click [Next]
4. There is no need to change the default options, just go to the next step [Next]
5. Select the installation path of the software. It is recommended to install it in a location other than the system disk. Create a total folder including two sub-folders. The installation path is set as follows
6. After the installation path is determined, click [Next]
7. After the installation is completed, uncheck the mark and click [Finish】
8. Then return to the installation package and open [Medicine】Folder
9. Copy the exe file
10. Find the first installation path you just set and double-click to open the 1 folder
11. Right-click in the blank space and paste in the exe file you just copied, and select Replace the file in the target
12. After the replacement is successful, open the start menu and find the installed [Altium Designer】and open it, click on the location pointed by the arrow to add the secret key
13.Double click to openIn the package【Licenses】Folder
14. Select one of the secret keys and click to open it
15. The effect after success is as shown in the figure below, and the expiration time of the secret key will be displayed.
16. Click the first item in the menu bar [DXP】 option, select the Preferences option, open the first item General, check the last item, and then click Apply and OK in sequence.
17. Finally restart the software. The Chinese version of the software is completed and you can use it.
