Introduction to the functions of the hexadecimal conversion tool
For example, to convert a binary number to a decimal number, first click the "Binary" radio button, enter the binary number in the edit box, and then click the "Decimal" radio button, and the conversion result will appear in the edit box. Conversion information is displayed on the right side of the status bar.
Click the "Number grouping" check button, and the numbers will be displayed separated by spaces. Binary numbers are divided into groups of four digits, and other base numbers are divided into groups of three digits. The grouping status is displayed on the left side of the status bar. Clicking the button again will cancel the grouping.
When a character that is not related to the base number is entered, a beep sound will be emitted and the character will be refused to be entered.
When pasting a character that is not related to the base number, a beeping sound will be emitted and the character will be refused to be pasted, and an error message will be displayed in the middle of the status bar.
The decimal point is only allowed to be entered once in a conversion. When you want to enter it again after deleting the decimal point, you should click the "Clear" button first, and then re-enter it.
Pressing the "Esc" key has the same effect as clicking the "Clear" button, which can clear the error message in the edit box data and status bar.
When the data exceeds the edit box, use the vertical scroll bar to view it.
The Save function in the File menu saves the conversion results to a text file.
