We've built the Luminar user interface to adjust to your skill level and preferences. Make it look exactly the way you want to only access the tools you need.
Filters, presets and workspaces
Everything at Luminar is built for your convenience. Over 35 custom filters help you enhance and change the look of your photos in every possible way. And the range is impressive: from classic tones and exposures, duotones, photo filter emulations, cross-processing and dozens of others. Each filter offers a precise and easy-to-use set of controls and includes built-in visual cues to help you.
Presets get you there with just a click. Just select a category and find the preset that best suits your photos. If you can't find a suitable preset, create your own or even share it with other Luminar users! You'll be excited about your workspace. These are like "personalized darkrooms" with only the tools that best suit your type of photography; they are saved combinations of different filters, grouped logically.
Workspaces that appear by default include Portrait, Black and White, Landscape, and Street. Of course, you can add new filters to a given workspace at any time, or even create a workspace personalized to your needs. Plus, you can even share and import other photographers’ workspaces.
Easy sky replacement
We put this in and let your creative juices flow. Adding textures and even skies is just one of many cool tricks you can do with Luminar. With a vast array of tools, layers, blending modes, brushes, masks, and more, you have the freedom to perform complex edits that can usually only be done in Photoshop, and with a lot more effort.
Native RAW processing is just a small part
We believe that in the modern world, perfect processing of RAW formats should not be extraordinary. This is a must-have for any decent photo software, so with Luminar you can be sure that your RAW files will get the necessary pixel-perfect treatment. However, RAW converters are just a few of the many amazing features and tools you get with the new software.
We wouldn't ship Luminar without a lot of great technology.
In addition to perfect RAW support, you get layers and custom textures, brushes and masks (including automatic brightness, gradients, and radial masks), pixel-perfect noise reduction, healing tools, crops and transforms, a history panel, bottom adjustments, plug-in support, and more.
