1. Restart
Sometimes it's just a program or driver that makes a mistake, and they correct it after a reboot.
2. New hardware
First of all, you should check whether the new hardware is plugged in securely. This issue that many people ignore often causes many inexplicable failures. If it is confirmed that there is no problem, you can unplug it, reinsert it or try another slot, and install the latest driver. Online shopping is most likely to cause memory modules to loosen due to transportation.
3. New drivers and new services
If you have just installed a driver for a certain hardware, or installed a certain software, and added the corresponding items in the system services (such as anti-virus software, CPU cooling software, firewall software, etc.), a blue screen will appear during use after restarting. If there is a fault, it can be uninstalled or disabled.
4. Check for viruses
Some viruses can also cause Windows blue screen of death, so virus scanning is essential. At the same time, some Trojans and spyware can also cause blue screens, so it is best to use relevant tools to scan and check.
5. Query system logs
In "Start~Run" enter: EvntVwr, msc, press Enter and open the "Event Viewer", pay attention to check the "critical" items marked in the "System Diary" and "Useful Program Diary".
6. Query the shutdown code
Write down the numb E pattern of the password in the blue screen, and use the software blue screen assistant to query it. Under normal circumstances, you can find the corresponding solution case.
7. Last known correct configuration
Under normal circumstances, the blue screen will appear after updating the hardware driver or adding new hardware and installing its driver. At this time, you can start the computer with the "Last Known Good Configuration" provided by the system and have options on the notebook startup screen.
8. Install the latest system patches
Some blue screen failures are caused by defects in Windows itself, not to mention the flagship version of the system that everyone uses. Therefore, they can be solved by installing the latest system patches. After the patches are installed, the system will become bloated and the boot speed will be reduced.
