1. Music library: You cannot import the previous music library. You can only add folders. The management method is much weaker than Xiage. There are only 4 sorting methods.
2. There are desktop lyrics, but the size and color cannot be adjusted and it takes up a lot of space.
3. Automatic synchronization of collections: PC can easily create collections and automatically synchronize them to Xiami. This is very good, but it cannot create playlists. Playlists and collections cannot be equated. In many cases, playlists are just for listening to songs casually and are not considered collections.
3. The memory usage is too large, 160M when playing songs, and about 100M when not playing. The CPU accounts for 5%-20%. There is a sense of lag during operation (my computer is too bad?). After the program exits, there is a stuck service called XMusicServer.exe.
4. The collection column cannot be folded. If there are too many collections, it will be messy. The collections you created and the collections will be mixed together.
That’s all for now, but I still hope Xiami will reconsider the interface. It really has no special features. I think Xiage’s layout is very good. If you add the online music listening part and design the appearance, it will be ok (or like Itunes?). Of course, this is just my personal preference. If most people like it, then so be it.
There is also a PC version that can play lossless formats such as ape. The function of uploading albums has also been cancelled, so I think the positioning of Xiami Music is different from that of Xiage. Xiami Music focuses on listening to music, while Xiage is more like a music management software.
Finally, I still hope that Xiami will put more effort into music library management. After all, Xiami’s comprehensive music library is a feature, and it is a pity that it cannot be reflected on the client.
